A glowing moon shimmers over a peaceful mountain range. 24k gold was used to accent the moon and mountains to add extra light into the scene. A super flashy AAA quality artisan cut moonstone hangs below.
No part of this heirloom-quality pendant is cast. Each element is created entirely by hand. The pendant started as sterling silver sheet metal and wire. Once the frame was created, the scene was cut out from original drawings on sheet metal using a hand held jewelers saw. After soldering the piece together, it was meticulously textured and detailed. A rich black patina was applied, and then it was highlighted and finished to a high shine polish. The 24k gold was applied using an ancient technique called Keum Boo.
