These earrings are wonderful light weight odes to the changing of the season. The rich red maple leaves are hand formed and give a life like appearance-perfect for capturing the feel of fall.
Every element of these earrings was created by hand and not cast. The brass wires were carefully formed into the elongated oval shapes and soldered together. Both maple leaves were drawn onto the copper sheet metal then were cut out using a held held jewelers saw. Each leaf was formed and textured to bring them to life before soldering them together. Both copper maple leaves were heated with a torch to bring out the deep red color. Lastly the frames were finished to a high shine polish
