A 24k gold full moon hangs above a shimmering nighttime meadow. The classic combo of black and gold is utilized to bring this peaceful mountain scene to life. Each meticulously detailed element radiates a feeling of deep connection with the natural world. An extra starry mountain scene is hidden on the back to add another special touch to this unique pendant.
No part of this heirloom-quality pendant is cast. Each element is created entirely by hand. The pendant started as sterling silver sheet metal and wire. Once the frame was created, the scene was cut out from original drawings on sheet metal using a hand held jewelers saw. After soldering the piece together, it was meticulously textured and detailed. A rich black patina was applied, and then it was highlighted and finished to a high shine polish. The 24k gold was applied using an ancient technique called Keum Boo.
