Even though my studio is located in the city of Oakland currently, every year I look forward to when all of the Ginkgo trees in our neighborhood turn bright yellow then begin to drop their leaves to blanket the streets. I deeply appreciate all the trees and plants in my neighborhood to keep me grounded in nature even when I can't be in the woods. My hope with this pendant is that it always brings the wearer the same sense of wonderment I feel for ginkgos and for finding the natural world wherever you are.
- The Golden Ginkgo pendant measures 1" x 1"
- Comes on an 18" rolo style chain. The chain can also be swapped with a length of your choosing for a small fee. Please leave a note with your order if you would like a different chain length.
- Made from original drawings that were transferred to fine silver sheet metal then cut out with a handheld jewelers saw. Once the pendant was soldering together layers of 24k gold were burnished into the silver using an ancient technique called Keum Boo.
- The carnelian stone is a beautiful deep orange an was cut by a small scale lapidary artist.
- Finished to a high shine polish.
