No part of this heirloom-quality pendant is cast. Each element is created by hand. The leaf started as an original drawing on sheet metal that was carefully cut with a handheld jeweler's saw. It was then formed and textured giving this scene a realistic look. Once it was soldered into the hand made frame and paired with the garnet, a rich patina was applied. Lastly it was carefully highlighted and polished to finish this ode to oaks and fall.
