Whales carry endless magic, history, teaching and wonder. Their slow movements through the oceans hold both spells and currents true. This one of a kind hair fork celebrates these majestic creatures. The mirror polished brass circles are an ode to old religious art as these are surely divine creatures. The bends in the hair fork help hold the piece securely in place. The fork legs are also flexible so they are easy to navigate through the hair.
This piece is entirely created by hand and is not cast. The circles, fork and whale are crafted from brass and sterling silver sheet metal and wire. The whale was made from different pieces of sterling silver that had silver dust fused to it giving the perfect texture. Careful polishing was done to the back halos for a shiny mirror finish.
